Additional Targets: Here’s a List of the Other Fish we Pursue

Additional Targets / The Less Glamorous (exotics in our minds): We infrequently focus on the following fish species – they’re more like hobbies we pursue in our spare time but would be more than happy to introduce them to you if the mood strikes you:

Largemouth Bass

Easy enough to target but confined to small strike windows where they are reliable. If we see them when we are out, we’ll throw flies their way.

Freshwater Drum (Sheepshead)

Gotta get deep, fish slowly, and be patient. They’re a hearty species and often only a target of opportunity.

Northern Pike

They come with the territory when pursuing musky. The musky fanatics don’t like them but they get nearly as big, fight as hard, and are less selective.

Lake Trout

Only during the winter amidst competing priorities (salmon, steelhead, musky, etc.) but a blast on the fly and a gorgeous fish in spawning colors.

If it swims in our waters we’ve probably caught it.  Give us a call and let us know if there’s a lesser pursued species you want to target.

We Pursue Nearly Every Species the Niagara River, Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and their Tributaries have to offer!
